BL, we have a lovely tree-lined river like that that behind the house, which runs down to the sea. The river has paths and cycle track on either side.

That sounds idyllic, Joyce. We are about 3 hours from the sea.

Gorgeous Lizzieimage.  Sunsets always look better with a few clouds to show them off.  I took a few of sunsets at sea but they don't look particularly special without clouds.

  • Don't you just want to hold that moment forever, beautiful sunsets, leafy lanes, running water - these are just a few of my favourite things....... isn't nature wonderful and it's wonderful to share such lovely pictures on here - I feel like bursting into song now - just as well no one is here to have to listen to me!

That looks quite dramatic though, Lesley.

It was rather Lizzie as I'm not used to being so close to the sunimage.  The moon was very red too when it appeared.

Those are stunning sunsets BL and Lesley. I want to do a bivvy overnight on a hill to get a sunset if possible, but mainly to get a sunrise. It's seriously outside my comfort zone, but something I'm determined to do   image

We had another gorgeous moon last night, so I took more pix which I also put on the Garden Pic thread. Tinkered with them a bit more so they look very different from each other. The second one is pretty much how it looked from the bedroom window - I've only sharpened it  image

Haven't posted an image for while, so here goes image

Earlier I was reading a thread on non native species ( Ladybirds I think ) so I thought I'd post a picture of another non native species, the Little Owl, this particular one was sat on a dry stone wall.

Lovely shots everyone, really liking the Moon and the Sunsets image

Oh Sheps - he is just gorgeous image

Haven't done my pix from today yet - too weary and it takes a while. Think there are some goodish ones though.

You'll be pleased to know there weren't any birds for you to identify for me  image
