@Sheps: Great shot of the sleeping Nomada Bee. Good observation. Of course it's easier to capture photos of sleeping insects rather than "in flight".
Here's my contribution of the day to this thread. Four shots of the same Damselfly willingly "posing" for my camera in the still fresh morning air (and dew).

Thanks Dove. I'm well aware that not everyone would enjoy them as much as I enjoy getting out there and taking them though
Of course, getting there is a big part of it....
There is a path (of sorts) under that, but the bracken is the same height as me...
This is the wildflower
There's a little hoverfly on there too
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Bog Asphodel I think - Narthecium ossifragum - likes living on acid moors.

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Thanks Dove - I knew it would be quicker than looking it up somewhere!
It looks very pretty just now. The lower slopes are well covered with it, along with cotton grass and orchids and all the usual suspects

It's one of those plant names that sticks in my brain - wish more of them did - especially the ones I've planted more recently

Oh my word
. The shots on here are incredible
.
That dragonfly is so vivid, the bee is curious - what a way to sleep
, your mountains are stunning as always Fairy, and the pipit shots are great too.
Glad you liked the pipits Papi Jo and chicky. They're gorgeous little birds
Your photos are stunning. The detail and the composition and the colour and...well, everything!
The droplets of dew are terrific too
