Thanks Pat... the quality of my photos tends to be a bit hit or miss. I love photography, but from the point of view of the composition, mainly. The phone is a Samsung Galaxy A3, not top of the range but a decent camera, which is why I chose it.
I like the sparkles on the duckweed - would be nice to say I planned it, but untrue... a happy accident!
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
Yes, I thought it complimented a beautiful June sunset, Joyce......I heard 'liquid gold' mentioned here recently and thought it fitted the bill with this one.

I love the light playing on the water and the light and shade on the flower. Your mobile must be a good one, (or the photographer is talented).
It looks lovely and sharp to me, Lirio.........I've tried to add a tad more sharpness for you, but it doesn't seem any better than the original.
Thanks, David. I think your version has added a little sharpness to the stamens.

Maybe......maybe lightening the shadows between the petals helped. You should still be well please with it.
This may interest anyone interested in sparkly water.....ducks taken on a local reservoir at dusk.
@David,
"Ducks at dusk" an interesting combination and nice photo!
Right place, right time again David. Love the ripple effect of the water.
