What a wonderful adventure you had Pdoc. I've enjoyed looking at your photos and see it's true - zebras do have individual stripes as we have fingerprints. The lionesses must do very well there as they look very well fed.
Sheps your photos are stunning. It's obvious that many years of practice have gone into them and patience is a virtue you must have In spades.
Fairy the views, the views. Just gorgeous..
GD the camera seems to be doing a great job. I love the stone bridge. Must get out and about more with mine.
Pdoc, I'm very You have been so fortunate in seeing the various species of bird and animal life. Love the elephant bum pic Well worth a bit of garden neglect for your holiday.
What brilliant photos. Looks like a trip to remember. Love the sunset through the grasses the most, but the animals and birds are fantastic too. Did you see many other people whilst you were there, or is it quite remote?
Stunning doc. Too hard to pick a favourite - love the bums too!
If I was forced to choose though, like Kitty, the glow through the silhouetted trees with the storks/egrets (?) is really superb. The Papyrus (?) is gorgeous as well. Very arty!
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Each camp has about 12 guests, and other than that there were very few people around.
The evening we saw the lion cubs, we were in a dry river bed, in a 4x4, and there was no one else around for miles.
The bush has very few roads, so you fly from camp to camp in very small planes, and land on runways made of mud, sand, and if you are very lucky, concrete.
How can you lie there and think of England When you don't even know who's in the team
