Bushman....Arran is beautiful given the right weather. We look across to it from Ayr lovely sunsets over it and we see the snow on Goatfell. Years ago we used to hire bikes at Brodick and cycle round part of it.
Well Verdun, you'd be welcome, of course, but I'm not sure you'd like my hit and miss gardening style since I got older. I tend to close my eyes a lot more now.
Took a few pictures while biking along the irrigation canal and the Bow River a couple days ago.
The oldest home in Calgary, it's just been repaired and painted. It was built in 1876 as part of the Hudson Bay trading post and was lived in as a home until the 1970's. We just about lost it but the funding to restore it came through.
I've only known it looking horrible with the blue shingles covering the logs. Looks great now!

Ooooh, Lilyp. Lovely. What's the name of the place? I don't suppose you'd like to put it on the jigsaw planet site for us to play?

Stayed here for two nights.

Can't remember the name of this little village but well the view speaks for itself.
