The weather was awful here while we were away, wind and rain. The greengage tree that has been leaning has finally snapped. I'd made a bed around it. If I didn't feel so tired I'd start dealing with it. Feel like I'm wound up in a cobweb. Fell over going upstairs and now right middle finger is swollen and the knee that was already a bit arthritic hurts. Left middle finger was already swollen from arthritis.

Going to lunch with daughter tomorrow. OH says he'll deal with the tree, but there are 3 clematis winding through it.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

had an appointment with g.p this morning to sign off the back "episode"

Sorry my exclamation marks came up wrongly, it really is a busy practice

Busy you sound pretty rough, nice warm bath perhaps? I am sure your lunch will make you feel better tomorrow and probably best you not around for the treeimage

Evening all, Haven't really done much today as I'm still full of cold so I've been hibernating in the house all day.  Hope I feel better soon or I will be bankrupt from all the internet shopping I've been doing.

RB re secondborn's house move, they now have now completed and have the keys.  No sign of a move yet though.  The damproofing was done yesterday and they have a builder coming in on Monday to start creating a new ensuite.  They still have to knock through the dining room into the kitchen and fit a new kitchen before they move.  Not much time as the baby is due in 10 weeks.image

Hoping I feel better tomorrow so I can get some work done in the garden.

Just had an early wake up - hubby is on the computer for a webinar - genealogy. 6 am is definitely too early to wake up.
