Thank you, yesterday I thought we were back like last year, but he's fine today, conflicting doctors advise and tablets prescribed did not agree with him.
He is 92 though so good for his age. He's still giving me garden advise, what to grow where and when, what to use in the soil, he hasn't forgotten a thing.
No tablets at all today and he has been in with us, his beloved granddaughter is here and his two great grandsons, so all happy.
Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.
Just back from a lovely afternoon at West Dean - we saw Sarah, would have stopped and passed on your regards if I had known Hosta. Rain mostly held off, but a biting easterly wind made us glad we had dressed up warm. We went round the gardens (beautiful hellebores and snowdrops) and then did the two mile walk round the arboretum ....enough for me to feel like I deserved the huge slice of carrot cake that somehow made its way on to my plate
One of these came home with me too .....instead of roses tomorrow
Sounds like your intolerable situation is about to turn a corner Wonky - keeping everything crossed for Tuesday.
Lyn thanks for update I'm happy that your dad is okay today. 92 wow, my mum is 88 this year and thankfully in reasonable health. We only live 10 mins away on foot and mins in the car. I think it is fresh cream cakes each week that keep her going, along with sweet chilli sauce that she has taken a liking to
Evening all, It's been cold today so no gardening for me. Popped to my friends for hot cross buns and tea and then came home to sit by a roaring fire. Grandaughter is staying over tonight so we are watching a Harry Potter film at the moment.
Hubby has given me some more garden vouchers for VDay so have quite a stash now with what I had for Christmas, not sure what I will be using them for yet.
Sorry to hear you are still poorly P'doc, you should get checked out in case you need antibiotics.
Off for a quick look round the site now while Hubby is cooking dinner.
Glad you enjoyed West Dean, Chicky. Lovely Hellebore. That's somewhere we intended visiting while we had the flat in Eastbourne but we never got around to it. It was a little far.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Lily - the white/pinky spots one is called conny. The one above was in the garden today and not labelled - but I brought home one very similar which was Harvingtons dusky.
Hosta, a young friend of mine with severe cerebral palsy, uncontrolled movements, wheelchair user, uncontrolled severe epilepsy and learning disabilities was found fit to work using that test fortunately she won on appeal!
Hosta, Saturday night is for watching DVDs - here it's a box set of M*A*S*H
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

Glad Dad has perked up Lyn.
I received the " fitness for work " questionnaire. Feck knows who fails it.
Questions like :
Can you walk up 2 steps if there's a handrail.
Can you put food into your own mouth without help.
Can you communicate with other? eg calling for help.
I'm not even bothering .
Can I ask DD ,Pat, Obelixx and Lizzie. Is TV on a Saturday night totally rubbish , as it is here in UK?
