Yes I know, minus 5 here. Couldn't sleep, already on my 3rd cup of tea, fire is lit so should soon have a nice warm kitchen. I will have a coffee next time, thanks.
Morning Frit only down to 0.1C in our sheltered back garden, but I suspect it's lower out the front where it's a bit of a frost hollow - there's certainly a lot of sparkle on the roof tops and the grass.
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Morning all. I hope to see some of you on here soon.
Dove, that episode of Insight will be on Tuesdat 16 Feb. its called Fire. The presenter is Jenny Brockie. I hope you will be able to download it. (SBS TV.)
Bit parky here too. But think that means a sunny day is in store
Great talk on heathers last night - so lovely to hear a nurseryman talk so passionately about his world. Seems chopping them back is the key ....I have a few that will be getting a short back and sides when the weather warms up.
Acquired a few more pots of snowdrops too. And found a beautiful hellebore in the GC yesterday which is named after my Mum ....so that came home with me too
Thanks Frit. We were due for 33 degrees, but it clouded over and I don't think it got over about 25. I'm not complaining, though. Hate the hot weather.

I know you will not need a warm up Pat, but for the others I will share my fire so they can have a warm up before they face the day.
