  • Good morning all image    Where's Pat?  No sign of Hosta being up all night either - hopefully a good night's sleep was had by all.

We had such a lovely evening - lots of chatting and catching up - J loved the food and lots was eaten and of course it was washed down well  image  Eventually I fell asleep on the sofa of course and was sent to bed ..... I've just woken and been into the kitchen where I['ve found everything washed up and left-overs have been cling-wrapped and put away image

Now frozen croissants are thawed and proving in the kitchen ready to be popped into a hot oven as soon as I hear movement upstairs. There's a dawn chorus happening outside and I've got a mug of coffee .  All seems well with this little bit of  the world image

Well, almost all ............. I appear to have cricked my neck in the night image.......... but I'm sure it'll be better in a little while.

I'm here Dove. Hello everyone. I've been AWOL since our sons visit.  He gone home now, but I've been working all day and haven't had a chance to read the last couple of pages

I picked heaps of parsley today and have been preparing it for the drying machine. Lots of other little jobs done.  Would you believe it's really cold at the moment - have had to close the doors and windows,  crazy.

as predicted, once i had got myself ready tophotograph the lizards. They haven't turned up. image

Morning Dove and afties Pat image

Your weather's very strange Pat - makes it difficult knowing what to wear half the time! Why do animals just 'know' ...I tried to get some pix of two ravens following me down the hill yesterday. Every time I got the camera ready, they dive bombed  the glen or wheeled away over one of the other hills, cawing at me. They were seriously taking the p*** imageimage

Glad you had a lovely time Dove. Only right the chores were done for you image

Morning Pat, Dove and Fairy & anyone else who gets in before I finish typing image

Early start for me - had to get up to make tea for OH but he'll be leaving for work shortly and I've brought mine back to bed image

Glad you had a good evening Dove - what sort of a party girl are you falling asleep on the sofa?image I've woken with an iffy neck too - think it's the result of my efforts yesterday. Hoping to do some more in the garden today but at the moment it's -1C in the shed - so it might need to warm up a bit first! Will try to do some different jobs today and use some different muscles. image

Cold here too T'bird but it was expected. It was already minus 1.5 when I collected daughter form work at 8 last night. Very white and crisp out there just now! Better go and feed the birds or they'll be knocking on the door...image

    Morning all.

OH had an upset tummy yesterday but he says he's OK today. He spent a lot of yesterday asleep in bed. I was thinking of cancelling my friends coming to lunch today, but he said not to.
