Weather fine.water temp 27C,    air about 30C but dry mostly, not humid.

We have had the occasional shower but they last about 2minutes. Another week to go. Last weeks Dentist convention have departed, yesterday a load of canadian doctors arrived for a medical conference. One hours conferring, and Seven hours drinking rum punches and getting rowdier by the minute.

Crepe  suzettes were a disappontment. Soggy and filled with some gunk. They should rename them crepes SueEllen, or Swellen as Terry Wogan used to call the character in Dallas . Apart from that the food has been brill. I have found that the house fizz is much improved by a dose of Absolut Raspberry.image

Hello again all. Fidget the whole holiday sounds great even allowing for the occasional strange meal. Have you been swimming?  I really miss Terry Wogan, especially his comments on Eurovision.

I haven't worked out your times there. Are ahead or behind us?

Its late evening here on Sunday. I think you are about 16 hours ahead of me. You're on Monday now arent you?

Yes, I've just had a look at the world clocks. Houston is 7.40pm and New York is 8.40pm so I estimated that you are between them. I'm 12.40 pm Monday afternoon. image

    Good one!  image

Hubby has a sort of cousin (discovered through DNA genealogy searches) who lives in Houston which explains why that clock was visible on my iPad. I think he shares a grandparent three times back ( or something like that).

Live been out in the heat taking photos for the garden photos site.

Think it's about 7C out there at the moment - or that's what my iPhone tells me - it's too wet to go out there in my jimjams.
