Great pic of Denzel Fairy. Our Bb is a bolshie so and so and chases away every other ground feeder. He hardly has enough time to feed himself. I've not seen any of Shetland yet but have heard it's good. May try catch-up.
KEF if you add enough garlic to the mango chutney do you think he'd know
Rb. - another 'tearing your hair out' day then. Chocolate will definitely make it all better.
Evening - quick pop in - still have lots to do this evening.
Runny - lovely to see you back on here - I missed your witisisms .
Aren't BT the absolute pits? Took them 3 weeks to reconnect our phone after storms 2 years ago - wasted hours talking to somebody in India who (obviously) had absolutely no local knowledge and was able to offer no useful information - nothing except polite comments and platitudes. My comments ended up being not so polite which is not like me at all... Pride myself on remaining cool and polite when dealing with these situations but I lost it with them.. Phone was only reconnected after local TV got involved.
British Gas are as bad...
Why is it that when we moved house all the 'small' companies managed the transition of services smoothly without issue - but those those 2 giant companies (which must deal with house moves on a daily basis) managed to c*ck it up from beginning to end?
Took 18 mths for Brit Gas to stop sending bills to our old address & that was only because I said I would have them investigated under the Data Protection Act for sending details of my financial arrangements to an incorrect address.
I could still get mad about it - grr
Calm, calm, calm - hope all poorlies are feeling better & everyone has a nice evening - even if they have marmalade with their curry
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
Hello folks! Back from visiting Ma (confused but happy) and son, fine but totally pee'd off with guess who? British Gas!!! Couldn't organise a whatsit in a brewery. When I left he was waiting for a senior manager to phone with a promised apology.
Saw lots of snowdrops, daffodils, prunus blossom and primroses along the hedgerows and banks - gorgeous
Now I'm going to flollop on the sofa and see what you lot have been up to ...........
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Dove - I've been out & about a bit this week. Is it just me or do the hedgerows seem to be developing a distinct green haze? Some cold days & nights to come but I think spring is definitely on the way - hurrah
Hope it is - I did some of my gardening weight training today carrying 2 x 12kg tubs of chicken manure pellets & BFB ready for the big cut back / tidy up / mulching session which will happen soon
