DD, thinking of you.  I guess it'll sometimes feel like 2 steps forward and 1 back, but you and Charlie will make it to a happier place.  Very best wishes xx

    Morning all,

Some good news, the mairie has found me a sweet little house, with a garden, the tenants gave notice yesterday so I might be there in a month. They are going to decorate it and make sure everything is in good repair before I move in. It is in my village and is within a 2 minute walk of Charlie's school and the bakery.

OH is going to pay a reasonable monthly amount until he can either sell the house or raise a lump sum.

I will have space and freedom to plan my next step. I intend to open an English Tea Shop here. I am going to spend time planning and researching how best to do that and find a suitable property/premises.

Anyway that is the situation at the moment, I'm sure it will have its ups and downs along the way but at least we have a plan and OH has finally accepted that this is going to happen. I also get the car and half the furniture (well as much as will fit in my little house).

Thanks for all the support and good wishes. Feeling a lot calmer. ?

Remember to get the best bits of furniture....image

There will be ups and downs, but you can cope with the downs if the ups are halfway decent.
