You need to start a separate thread with an appropriate title @elainenunezcarter. This is about grass food so you won't get suitable replies. Photos of the problem will also help. It's likely to be drought and/or sun and wind damage though, assuming the pruning was done at the correct time of year.
Thank you for your advice. I should have researched the forum better. I was looking up grass 'after cut' and ploughed (pardon the pun) into this but now I know.
