I wish I read these reviews about Evergreen 4 in 1 before I made the massive mistake of using it. It has ruined my front lawn which was actually perfectly grown and green. It didn't really need this product but like a fool I wanted it to be greener. I would not recommend this product to anyone as it causes more harm than good. I'm jus hoping and praying it grows back quick ?
If you just wanted it greener - you could have just used a feed.....
Evergreen 4 in 1 - the clue's in the title. Four actions in one product. It doesn't 'cause more harm than good' - it does 'exactly what it says on the tin'....
I'm not sure why so many people have found it so difficult to read, and follow, the instructions on these products, and then understand the results!
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

But the point is plenty of people do as has been demonstrated by the amount of posts on the topic!
Even those that follow it to the letter have also fallen foul for example when turning the spreader round at the end of a run and therefore inadvertently depositing a nominal amount more than prescribed and suffering the consequential damage.
i just feel that the application requirements are too restrictive and exacting for the main market it is targeted at and that is DIYer gardeners. I'm sure with some tweaking to the formulation it could have a much wider window of application with less negative effects on inaccurate dosage. But that's probably just me.
It looks like you’ve applied it by hand, looking at the strips of dead grass, and those bits got too much of the mixture, is that it still laying on the edge. A lot of people think that putting on plenty will give a better finish, not so, sparingly is best. I suggest you rake of the dead grass, scuff it up a bit and in a couple of months, it will either have started to grow or you can re seed those patches, give it loads of water, fix a hose on a pole or something.
We use this every spring, ours if fantastic, I hope no one blames the product because it really is very good.
Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.
agree definitely looks like James applied by hand, as we've all done, but not evenly enough. Can @James.pratt2009 confirm for benefit of other members? Lyn's suggestion is definitely the way to go...raking, watering....and some time. worst case scenario you just seed the areas damaged, it will be fine by late autumn so don't stress!

You're probably going to need to over / re-seed although I don't know if the product will stunt or prevent germination.
Thanks
