Definitely a sunhat day today - sunshine forecast for all day and no rain or wind.  Looks good for the next five days too.  Lots of people gone off for a break so not so many lawnmowers either.  A peaceful sunny Bank Holiday Sunday for me and my wildlife.

Have a peaceful day Marion. Your pictures are amazing.

Someone was talking on another thread about night phlox and we were wondering if you had any. Apparently the smell is delicious and several people (including myself) had serious plant envy!

I have grown night phlox in the past near my kitchen and it is lovely I agree Plant pauper.  I will add it to my list for next year!  Not that i go out very much at night at my age!  My birds are hopping around outside waiting for me to feed them,Joyce..  Some are very tame now and peep into the kitchen from the doorstep through the glass door.

Beautiful day for gardening so did a lot in the front garden.  Golf coverage at 6 so will have supper now as Countryfile is on at 7.  Gardening all day does make you hungry, especially when you forget to have lunch!

It's been a lovely day but a bit breezy at times. I've spent all day in the garden planting tomatoes, sweet peppers and cucumbers. It was hard work hauling growbags and bags of compost around so I hope all those tasty salads will be worth it!

    Once again, lovely photos Marion.

Cloudy this morning but fine dry day forecast with 20 degrees max so hoping to get as much gardening done today as yesterday.  It is so peaceful when there is no cars going to school and the Surestart nursery down the lane and no pollution so it is safe to work in the front garden.  Sounds like most of you are having good weather too and enjoying your gardening.  So much better than busy roads and airports.  I was so happy to see our Bristol lad, Chris Woods, win the golf at Wentworth yesterday.  Well done Chris.  I hope that means we will be seeing more of him on the telly now he is climbing the rankings.

You too, GWRS.  I have done quite a bit and as the light is just right took some pics before I put my camera battery on charge.  The scent all over the garden is delightful this morning.
