DD what brilliant news! I really hope all works out well. The only info I can offer is IF it doesn't go to plan try contacting the ( southern) Lad. Rescue Trust , my dad has had many ' dealings' with them and they have been really brilliant and they WILL take on Shadow's case because they never turn their back on a dog. Keeping everything crossed for Shadow???xx
It is a really marvelous support network for dog owners, and there are a few members in France who might be able to suggest solutions / foster for a while.
Just an update, someone very interested with 2 acres of land is going to call me this morning to have a chat about Shadow, they live in France too.
Got an offer of a foster home for 3 weeks too but hoping we won't need it.
I have just about everything crossed but even then we still have a couple of good UK options, just so much more complicated. Absolutely no finger nails left!
Rosie and Flowers will follow the links, thanks.

Another update - still not definite but Shadow is meeting his potential 'new mummy' on Sunday morning. he will have a 'grumpy' 10 year old dog to deal with and a 3 legged cat that dashes - not good for a dog who likes a chase - but they are keen to meet him and see how they all get on - and only half an hour from here!
Still got lots of other people on the hunt, am keeping as many options open as possible. Nervous wreck.

DD you're doing brilliantly. So many offers are coming in for you because of your 'gumption' as they say up here. Very hard to do but try to zone out for a little while and replenish your batteries. ((Hugs)) for all of you. Really hope it comes good on Sunday xx.
You're doing so well DD - the start of this story brought tears to my eyes (a trifle embarassing as I was sat in the gym carpark) - but I am now really hopeful of a happy ending for Shadow. Hugs for Charlie, who must be a bit bewildered by it all. And big hugs for you too.

DD, keeping everything crossed here too. Hope it works out for you soon and Shadow can be fostered till November.
I would help too if I could, but live in the wrong area and also I don't drive. But Shadow might enjoy the walk!
Best wishes, love and hugs DD. Really feel for you and Charlie xx
