yeah i could move to my bonsai area if he finds it ok and then look out the window. what is there smell and eyesight like? he will likely recognize the box now
shame he doesnt set the security light off. but will try more video next week

his 2 houses stay at back of garden, maybe he will venture into or back to the one he tried. dont think that one was warmer enough for all winter though
my box is slightly different from the one in the link. The metal "door" lies on top and I leave the saucer underneath when it rains, so it doesn't get rained on.
My 3 hogs seem to be done by about 10 ish , so I bring any uneaten food indoors so as not to attract rats.

they can travel up to 2km per night, so leave the box in situ and provide a different feeding site? I'm sure they'd find it.

this is the kinda thing I use to place their food. With the door blocked open , obviously.

mines a plastic storage box that i cut a whole out of, only he can get in and the lid collects the rain

was actually motion detected but didnt take anymore and quality not great. seems to have a white mark on him

my cats will likely get the rats if any but i should try and clear the food but sometimes he comes later i think
