I have mine about 2m from the breakfast room doors and keep a torch on the table and just have a look as I pass through.
feeding box is just outside my kitchen door and the light reflects onto it so if im lucky and at the right time i can catch him eating
if walks across the garden the security light should come on but i think he is a bit of a ninja
will test a remote surveillance app using a phone a tablet soon

I'm going to try and set my phone up as a webcam so can actually see him. Very illusive.
