I've just come back from RHS Rosemoor and they had a group of 5 H. Marion Vaughn with not a single flower on any of them. Mine ( singular)has been in flower for weeks.
Ledgewood's Calico Blues, I waited two years for this one till Polliesdaylilies clump was big enough to split, then another year for it to settle and flower ,worth the wait
Lunacy, this was a swap with my friend in the Azores last year, the first few flowers were quite unimpressive he kept saying just wait it'll get better and OMG it certainly did!!
Lucky you Hostafan mine finished a couple of weeks ago now, well except for 4 or 5 that are reblooming and some seedlings, I might have to look out for Marion Vaughn for late flowers, next summer seems so far away.
Some more of my seedlings these are all from the same cross Indian Sky x Brer Rabbit's Baby.
Lorna we go every spring and summer to Harrogate Show the autumn one is around the time of our wedding anniversary (28 years this year eeek) so we stay over, some lovely B & B's we try a different one every time, go to Harlow Carr one day and the show the next, don't you have anything like that where you live? you'd love it I'm like a kid in a sweetshop lol come home with far to many plants , last year we bought a stag for in our wood, made from recycled salvage , I'll find a picture later, we had to fetch him from Newark in the back of a trailer got some funny looks, Stanley he's called

kathy , "she" was still flowering in November last year, even after frosts. Not saying that's typical, but it's what happened last year.
Crikey that's amazing!! I had one with buds at Christmas before but they never opened, it must love were its planted
I'd love to take credit, but as you say. " it must love where it's planted"
Oh I don't know think you should take credit the amount of people I talk to who say they can never get them to flower!
I have, maybe 12 - 15,maybe more, different varieties and they're all fine.
Kathy and Hostafan you both are lucky to go to shows, would love to go somewhere like that.
