Hello Kathy. I've not been on this site for a while, since I had nothping to add. The  first of my Daylillies is starting to flower at long last, so I'll take a photo later and post it. This is the very plain one I told you about some time ago, but the double one hasn't got there yet,

Thanks Lorna, it'll look much better when more buds open, nothing to compare with Kathy's wonderful blooms.

Thanks Lorna image, don't worry only the not very nice colours go in the compost which I haven't shown on here, you tend to get quite a lot of muddy pinks, I try to find homes for the better ones, so next year i should have some when ive decided which to keep, only a couple of the Persiflage x Nefertari seedlings flowered this year so should be more next year, if I have another similar I'll remember you liked itimage.

That is a huge clump Pat!, so many buds a few more days it'll look a pictureimage

Just noticed the last one on the yellows should be Winds on Fire not Winds of Fire oops all these names are confusing image

Here are the other siblings to the Winds on Fire x Unk Red, thought I'd decided which ones of these to keep but now looking at the pictures I like the second one too!!

This was a keeper very bright colour in real life and 8.5 inch flowers.

This one was going, 7inch flowers mmm now I'm not so sure.

This ones defintely not a keeper 5.5inch flowers and not very inpressive.

Totally different to the others and small 4inch flowers, really like this one, covered in flowers in its first year.

Thanks Kathy, that's really nice of you. I'm not surprised you get confused with all the names, there are so many and with all the crosses as well.image

Kathy those pictures are lovely, But the first and last photo's are my favourite, both have really nice colouring on them.

How's your wooded area coming on?, Did you get everything done that you need to do or do you still have a lot more to do it.xx

Those two were the ones I liked on first seeing them Lorna imageso the decisions made!

Its coming on Lorna got lots of planting and moving around done, there are thousands of snowdrops in the rest of the wood so next year once they've finished flowering I'll move and split some clumps to fill a few gaps, its just the top area now near the pond Robs found the perfect spot for a waterfall into the pond, slopy sites are good for some thingsimage so he's busy digging that out so it'll be a while before that areas planted.

A couple more dayliliesimage, this ones called 'Wild Horses'

And this is a cross of Wild Horses x Heavy Metal grown by my friend in the Azores who very kindly sent me a piece last year, love it, Heavy Metal has a patterned eye which has been passed on.
