Oh and I have to so say I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who has snipped the top off one of their Tomato plants this year! lol

It's nice to see I'm not alone too NGCARDS !

I wonder if anbody else talks to themselves in the garden? I chat away like a good 'un - usually either giving myself a b*ll*cking for doing something stupid (again) or telling the plants what I think of their performance today.

Doesn't annoy me that I do it - but it probably worries the neighbours somewhat image

Spooky! I'm glad we don't have neighbours within sight of the house and yard.

We are detatched, almost unoverlooked, I sneak down the garden most days, in my PJys, to check on stuff, almost always my neighbour will catch me, promised him I really do have clothes! He ALWAYS makes me jump!  Hes lovelly, though, AND loves gardening!

i frequently talk to myself. Only way i can win an argument.image  Are you still having vole problems topbird?

  • Haha! I'm constantly talking to myself, either telling myself or a plant off because I can't find a home for it. I also do the PJ thing but I live in a semi-detatched house so I'm sure the neighbours will have spotted me from a window lol

My late Mother (gorgeous lady) was always  talking to herself (and to her plants) she told me it was the only was to guarantee a sensible answer!

    Hi Bushman

Yes - the voles are coming out to play in 2 of my 3 beds at the moment - carrots & beetroot are their favourite targets. I talk to them too - my maritime ancestry comes out then - words even I didn't know I knew image.

Hope nobody overhears me when I do that - will never get invited to WI meetings again image
