Things you do that annoy yourself...

Afternoon!
I was wondering if any of you, like me, have recently done something in the garden that has made you annoyed at yourself.
For example I was dead heading the Foxgloves then as you do, put the off cuts in the compost bin.
However I forgot to keep the one spike from the only Peach one I have to collect the seed from (even though I reminded myself to do so multiple times) and now it seems to have vanished into thin air from the compost bin!
(I know I can buy the seeds but that isn't the point ... ) lol

I can't be the only one to do things like this lol

I'm forever planting something then deciding it would look better somewhere else.  A few of my poor plants have been moved several times and some didn't like it image

    1. Putting things down then wasting 10 mins looking for them - hand fork, secateurs, garden knife etc - every single blessed gardening session.
    2. Not labelling things properly because "I'll remember that.... " yeah, right
    3. Not staking in time - some plants I do - many I don't - each year I promise to do better - each year I don't
    4. Taking forever to put plants in. In spite of 'setting things out' I always end up standing back and thinking "that needs to go a little to the right.." - usually means moving several plants. Little saying of mine - "Why plant it just the once when you can plant it 3 times.."
    5. Snipping unopened flower buds when getting carried away with the dead heading
    6. etc etc
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down

Wading in to prune something at the back of the border, being so careful not to stand on the wee special things, putting my hand in pocket for secateurs.... they are still on the lawn where I was kneeling and noticed the rose needed prunedimage  The trouble is I keep doing it!!!

I annoy myself constantly NGCARDS - don't even have to go out in the garden to do it either ..imageimage

I spend ages deciding where a plant will go. Eventually plant it, and two weeks (or less) later, decide it's all wrong and start again image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
