Hello , this my clematis ball that I have recently planted , had one a few years ago and we had a terrible winter -11 in the G/H for weeks and obviously it did not survive along with every thing else even thought it was insulated , the way it goes

there are 4 small plants in there and before putting away for the winter I just cut everything back , hopefully it will blossom out image in time

    happy gardening everybody image

Done lots of gardening in last few days, but it's on my Open Garden thread.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Went to B&Q for some sundries and came back with a Trachleospermum jasminoides! The most I have ever spent on a plant, but it is a really good size, very healthy and I wanted one, and my garden is small, so I am not thinking thrift, I am buying what I want!

darren, what kind of Mina Lobata are you growing?    Mine has green tri-lobed leaves, so I am puzzled.

Cleared a small neglected bed to make room for some of the plants which are ready to go out but I don't have room for.  Found about 15 madonna lily bulbs in it which have been there for a few years but never really done much, so have bunged them in some pots of really good compost.  I have two borders which need rejuvenating so plenty of work lined up for the foreseeable! image

A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.
