  • Obviously a great excuse to have a good long soak in a hot bath Berkley  - with the odd seed catalogue if it stops you feeling guilty!

  • I hoed the garden and picked up the debris the wind left yesterday took two and a half hours.....always wonder if I should leave it to protect the plants from the frost but the garden looks so much neater and i can see the bulbs coming up now ! Lovely sunshine and all thawed just ahead of where Iwas working as Igot there. Today I tidied out the GH picked all the dead leaves off the pelargoniums and created a bit of space so I could stand up in there . Now I am off to plant some Geranium seeds in the warmth and comfort of the house and that's where they will stay till it warms up outside ! Time to start the springcleaning inside now before spring comes to the garden and it all begins again ! If I am all caught up outside I'm behind inside and vice versa. ....can't seem to get the balance right !

started building the raised beds in polytunnel.

Checked the max min thermometer inside the cover over my propagator bench. Max 30C min 16C

Might move the hedychiums up there tomorrow and finish the raised beds before going back to work on Thursday.
