Non-stop drizzling rain all day here so potted-on some year old dierama I grew from seed - 10 Slieve Donard and 10 hybrids. Also repotted a couple of lovely heucheras which came as plugs last autumn. Sowed 6 melons and 4 more squash on the heated bench I made about 18 months ago.
A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.
Went to market early drizzle so not much there too early for basket plants? Returned via B&Q and got offer MPC andwhoopie they were clearing small plantlets for 10p each HS potted all 35on and they look healthy Bad news though got vine weevil in the pots on hospital bed I had to spend all after noon repotting and clearing everything yuk put critters on birdtable but no takers so chucked them in the dyke. That's my day gardening?? Rubbish
Waited eagerly for GW and dozed of during the wildlife pond woke up to the final credits. That's what an afternoon critter picking does for your good job they have repeats

I spent about 5 mins in each tunnel this evening after I came in from work. Really don't think that counts either.
