It has turned colder and persisted down nearly all day so, apart from feeding the birds and taking no 1 dog for her bi-monthly haircut, I have stayed indoors and mulled over plans for garden projects this year.   Too cold and dark here for seed sowing yet.

I'm hoping it will be drier tomorrow so I can get OH out there to start to tackle the trellis.  It's his first week of retirement and he has to be eased gently into his new roll as full time undergardener plus we both have to be fit for dance class tomorrow night.

Managed a couple  of jobs outside mid day when it stopped briefly from throwing it down ,  next week it is supposed to get colder and the frost start ,  Which I don't mind image

  • Nope - unless you count dog poo picking off the lawn? Today has been dedicated to painting the hallway. I did some thinking about gardening though image

Have started a weeding/pruning program in my flower beds - very overdue. Got Hubby to bring the trailer up to the house area so that I could empty my wheelbarrow loads into it and when it's full, it can be towed to the tip. It'll make a big difference to how it all looks. Getting very keen.image

Hubby pruned one side of the Thyme border with his Brush Cutter. I've still got to get to the inside of the bed, but it's a secateur job and much bending over. I've had to stop for a while - too hot for me.
