Lovely lot of photos Mation, I especially like the little violas, I always have a pot of seedlings on the go, they just fit in anywhere.

Is that a little coral coloured Salvia? It's very pretty, also the Japanese Anemone.

  • Not a salvia, an agastache,Lyn.  Lost its name label but has been growing for years and flowering well.

  • Still pouring in Bristol and duckpond is up to conservatory steps.

Is it called Apache Sunset, I have grown seeds of that one, it looks a bit like the picture on the packet.?

  • That.s it Lyn.  TY, remember it now.  I grew mine from seed but only two plants.  They get covered in flowers all summer long.  Good in hanging basket.

  • Still raining in Bristol, GWRS.  And after a fine forecast for tomorrow even nastier rain and wind forecast for Wednesday.  I shall have to rescue a lot of sodden plants tomorrow and empty loads of pots full of water.

Hello all. I've got sun and strong wind today, so no point trying for photos - they'd just bounce around. Will include a photo of a small vase of flowers on the windowsill.

The wind has dropped slightly so got a photo of the daffodil.

  • Aha, first time that has happened, Pat.  The daffs were the right way up but flipped over when I clicked on them!.  That bowl of spring flowers is so encouraging now bulb planting season is on us with all the backache that can cause.  I always have a good warmup session before I venture out in september especially if it is windy.  Today is still dull and has been raining through the night but we are promised some dry bright spells as well so emptying pots soon I hope.
