Very dark here and still raining. We had a lot of rain through the night. Yellow warnings of heavy rain for today and tomorrow from the met. office for Bristol. The swelling in my feet is better - one back to normal, the other getting there. Putting them up helped. The temperature forecast for tomorrow is 15 max which is 10 degrees below yesterday's max! I will get my cardigan out again. No chance of any gardening for the next four days or so so should be well rested by then!
Awe Marion you take it easy, we have suprisingley woke to blue sky For how long who knows, it was thunder and rain last night, I may be able to cut the lawn if the grass is dry.
my mum used to soak cumfrey leaves (think that's how you smell it) soak them in boiled water in a bowl then let it cool and put your feet in it and soak for 15 minutes, it helped get the swelling down , hope they get better very soon.
Had one whole mil of rain overnight and overcast all day here ; Hubby slowly getting better. I made some chicken soup tonight and gave him a strained bowl. So far he's good. He said his ribs feel sore, which I didn't expect.
Poodle has been a bit off her food today, but she does that sometimes. I don't know what sets her off. As usual, she is curled up beside me on the lounge.
Marion, looks like your getting the weather we had last night, it was like a river here too, hope it stops for you soon, great that you have a supply of comfrey Marion saves you having to go to the shops and buying it : ), you put your feet up now and enjoy a good film or book : )

Awe how is your hubby by the way? Was it food poisoning? And is poodles better now? Sending my healing hugs
Yes, both idling along. I'm positive Hubby had food poisoning. Very debilitating.
