Yes it does so I gave the three plants plenty of room.  yes we have been lucky with how mild it has been so far.  I have been growing Xmas roses (Helleborus niger) in the conservatory for Xmas presents and the flower buds are appearing!

Morning Marion, hope you are well and looking forward to Christmas, I written all my cards last night while my OH was on his works doo : ).

Jack Frost has made an appearance this am with blue sky, it only just stopped raining about 8pm finally!.

What are you up to today Marion? Have you naked everything now?

Another damp dull day but still feeling mild and very calm.  I should be able to finish off my Xmas post today.  The parcels are starting to arrive!  I do hope the weather brightens up a bit in the afternoon so I can get up the garden for some fresh air and to see the birds enjoying my apples on the ground and still on the trees.  Some of the Bramleys are fermenting so there may be some inebriated ones needing my help to keep the visiting cats away.  Talking of cats my friend has an elderly cat next door which is being incontinent in his house so he bought it a litter tray but it does not recognise it as such and uses it as a bed.  He also has roses still in flower and can pick a bunsh of "Molyneux" and "The Lady" still.

Just had a phone call asking for a talk and slide show next Friday so hve just spent an hour picking out 200 photos.  As it is the end of the year I thought I would give a whistlestop tour through the months.  It was such fun .  I just kept saying oh just look at that to myself.  Some editing and timing check to do but the back of it is broken.  Good job it was not sunny or I would have been up the garden out of earshot of the phone.

My talk is entitled "A whistlestop tour of my garden through the seasons in the year Bristol was the  European Green Capital", GWRS.  A sort of lvfe concentration of this thread on the forum.  Flumpy Charlie the cat is well over 15..  We had a pure white cat that lived to be 21.
