Another very cold day in Bristol.  May get to 3degrees by afternoon and no rain forecast so will wait till then to venture out.  May have a rummage among my seed packets to sort them out but do not think I will sow any till February now.

Oh my it sleeted down on me so no gardening done today but I did get to the shops for fresh eggs as I have a birthday cake to make tomorrow for a friend.  The only parts of me exposed to the weather were my nose and chin and both were freezing.  I am sure today with no sunshine felt much colder  than yesterday.  Forecast is for mild weather again at the weekend so will save jobs till then

I do so hate the cold image I don't blame you marion for staying indoors, it's been brass monkeys out the last couple of days! Just going to and from work is enough for me!

Yesterday in the sun was so much nicer than recently. You could feel the warmth on your legs and it was lovely image

I am in the position that as of the weekend, i will have plenty of time to spend on the plots. I'm glad the weather forecast is improving image

Make the most of Saturday, Fruitcake,  It is evedently going to be just a short let up in this freezing weather.  This morning is a little milder but still only 2degrees.  But I have a good excuse to stay in with a birthday cake to make and a birthday special lunch to prepare for my friend.  About lunchtime before the dry weather breaks and in a promised 5degrees I will fill up the green wheeliebin in readiness for being emptied on Friday as we are returning to the normal day after the Xmas break.  I bet there are lots more of my snowdrops blooming now o may take my camera up into the buttterfly garden.

It was, flumpy1.  My goodness it is cold this morning -3degrees still in Bristol and set to reach 7 degrees which would be fine for working in but looks like I will have to wait a bit.  White roofs and grass everywhere I look out of the windows.
