Hi Pat that's amazing how close the Kangaroos get to your house but I bet scary too, I love watching David Attenborough, I've been watching his programmes since I was little, I remember watching the Kangeroos fighting (the males).
Just curious, what does the word goof weekend mean?, I wonder how Marion's gone on with all that delicious food mmmmm : ).
Those shrubs look lovely Pat, I can only imagine the scent is gorgeous mmmmm
The weather in North West England is grey but warm, going to do some weeding today and dead heading my plants today, but right now I'm starving and need some breakfast mmmm now what shall I have.......
i must admit the spell checker drives me crazy - of course, I meant "good" weekend.
like you, I've enjoyed David Attenborough films for years. His son was one of my lecturers at university. lovely young man! Tough marker though.
In Australia we are now seeing a third season of Hugh's River Cottage Australia. Its based on the same format that Hugh used when he first started his various programs. The location of the little farm that they are using is about 2-3 hrs drive from our place - near the coast rather than the mountains like us.
I've been pruning today - raspberries, roses and a hedge of Spiraea cantoniensis. It's been worrying me since last summer because it's draping low over the driveway, and provides a good hideout for poisonous snakes at ankle height. So, now I've cut the lower branches. Makes me feel much better.
I'm a bit sleep deprived because of the Tour de France last night, but we have learned to expect this situation each year.
Hello everybody after a lovely day with fourteen of my family. Weather warm but cloudy today but rain forecast for this afternoon so must get out there. The forecast is for three days of rain and it is sorely needed. Pat your posts keep getting repeated two days running.
Marion, thanks for letting me know about the repeated posts. Our internet has been strange lately. I'll get hubby to try to sort it out, since I'm a beginner with this electronic stuff.
Ho marion they look lovely , glad you enjoyed your day, have they all gone home now ? I bet they enjoyed the food ? .
its grey in the NW but still warm, may gets some weeding and deadheading done today, our sweet peas are just over 5ft now, I look and think, I can't believe I grow them from seed Quite proud of myself.
Yes flight to Belfast in the afternoon for the four from Ireland. rest all live locally. Well done on the sweet peas. Must take my camera up the garden soon as it looks like rain coming.
