The trees next door are beginning to colour up, especially the beech and lime tree I will get my camera out now the sun is making them glint.  I do have huge pears and my saffron crocuses are growing, TY flumpy.

They look lovely Marion I love the reds and yellows together, I like autumn when it's dry but it's still raining buckets here so I can't tidy my leaves up yet image

Colder this morning with a touch of frost on next door's grass, but forecast is for dry and sunny all day so i think I will start my tulip planting.  Milder weather is forecast from tomorrow for Bristol so should get quite a bit done this week.  Lots of my winter flowering violas I grew from tiny plugs now have two or three flowers on them in lots of colours so they will be planted out to brighten up pots and borders and round the edges of the perfume garden next week. The Sweet William and forget me nots are much bigger now and ready to go out.  I had an email from Warmupbristol to say a letter was on its way so perhaps will be told what is happening about the new boiler.

  • Morning Marion,

    Hope you are well.

Cold start down here too, but fingers crossed we should be in for a good day as well.

I've just planted out my S Williams and they are looking good.

Really hope you get some positive news from Warmupbristol and get a lovely new boiler in time for when the real cold begins to hit.

    Have a lovely day x
