David,  how many weeks till we can plant them out here in the Midlands do you think. Mine have grown lovely in the green house over the winter, did have to nip them out but only once.  They are about 4" tall at the moment and quite bushy.

Hi from Kingswinford in the West Midlands
  • They sound perfect, Yvie...well done, I'm a sucker for a success story. image

Planting out can be done anytime from now on, provided the ground is dry & workable.

As I've said many times, your biggest enemy from now on is icy winds.

    Edit: and slugs & snails.

  • People ask me questions on this thread, I dutifully oblige.....is it too much to expect a couple of  words of appreciation or even acknowledgement they have read my reply? image

  • image  If you go back just a page or so there's loads of people saying 'Thanks' to David.

Some people don't always look on the forum every day - some aren't as conscientious as others - and some people are unthinkingly rude but what the heck - I think most people appreciate the effort made by other forum members, but of course, it's better to give than to receive image

I recommend going back to bed and getting out on the other side - it sometimes works for me image

  • You underestimate my grasp of how these boards operate, Dove. image

As for 'wrong side of the bed'.....not an issue.  image

  • These boards have as infinite a variety of operational styles as there are people on them - I just 'go with the flow' image
