Sorry to hear about Brian the snail Lyn, he conjures up a picture of a very happy snail!

DD, the review will be taken as it sounds, discontented grumpy people that would take issue if someone tried to please them!

All reviews I read I take a balanced look and believe that is what most visitors do, don't change what you do, from the look of your garden and description of the cooking and home produce, I can't think of anywhere more lovely to stay!

Let's hope those grumpy people are true to their word and stay in their little land of miserableness!

Here's to the rest of your lovely guests, there will be lots! image

Thank you all and as a show of my appreciation have a little taste of tonight's dessert! Tiramisu for anyone interested!

Perfect, we've not got a dessert for this evening - that'll be great after lamb chops with mint jelly, roasted Charlotte tatties, buttery summer cabbage and gravy.  Thanks! image

Whether I'll be able to fit into my gardening jeans tomorrow is another matter imageimage

DD have been having posting problems with the site today or would have replied sooner.

You must be I e if the hardest working people I have ever come across. I have a very small business in comparison to yours but I have learnt to ignore negative feedback if it is untrue. Some people are just envious of others, ya boo sucks to them!

Thank you for pudding, tastes lovely.

DD, couldn't get on here yesterday, sorry.

But I agree with everyones comments. I know it must hurt but don't take any notice of the nasty comments your visiters wrote, some people get pleasure out of moaning.

We read some comments on tripadviser over the weekend about the hotel we were staying at on our hols a few weeks ago......the people commenting stayed the same weeks as us.......they said it was filthy and nothing pleased them either. We had a wonderful time, it was spotless and it was one of the best hotels we've ever been to.  The staff couldn't have been more pleasant and they were rude about them too.

Sending hugs DD, don't let it get you down xx

Pud looks yummy by the way.....one of my favourites image

Thanks SGL, just can't understand why people feel the need to do such things, it is so mean. I think/hope that mine simply mis-judged the state of the pool, it has a cover over it - to keep it clean - and if they looked out of their window that's what they would see, because it has been so dry the cover is dusty but underneath the pool is protected, that is the point of the cover. They didn't go near the pool other than see it out the window so I am giving them the benefit of the doubt thinking they really did think that was the pool. Also, they only asked for the 3rd person to come the day before despite being booking ages ago. She said they needed their daughter to drive so perhaps the father was ill therefore making him extra grumpy - who knows -  but still mean to be so public about such things.

Glad you all enjoyed the pudd. imageimage
