Wonderful news Matty - hopefully in a couple of months time you will be feeling more like yourself and able to enjoy spring with all it's promise of new beginnings
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
Lilly sad to hear your friend is still in pain, my MIL had shingles in half her face and in the end acupuncture at the pain clinic helped her. Re stoma and bag has your friend heard of the irrigation system? Google it, it is suitable for some people.
Verdun it isn't rocket science to provide someone with a morphine patch, hope both you and mum are now calm.
LilyP I hope today has gone as well as it possibly could have
So delighted Matty - now you can concentrate on getting over the op - look after yourself....the garden's going nowhere
Thoughts go out to others. "Because we care" is so true. Sometimes I think not caring might be an easier option- but what an empty life that would be. So I'll carry on caring - pretty sure the good times outweigh the bad - even though thats sometimes hard to remember.
Oh my what a day. A superb minister choosing the right words can make such a difference at a funeral. Today's suggested we hold our sad thoughts, throw them in the floor and pick up a happy memory. It really worked for many of us.
