Which climbers for privacy

  • I my problem is the same as your but the other way round, the houses at the bottom of my garden are higher than ours but there is also a car park . The problem is the car park has also been built higher meaning it starts half way up my 6 ft fence with garages near the fence so people are so much higher and look over at us all the time. There is a retaining veal behind my fence but not allowed to put anything on it plus it runs across another 2 houses. So I’m also looking at screening to give some privacy. I’ve got bamboo although it seems slow growing, got climbing roses but they look bare in winter, paracynthas screens some plus a cherry tree but again in winter leaves drop so no privacy.
