Flippin 'eck - you really don't let the grass grow under your feet do you!

That really is a great achievement!  Respect due!

HI, Buddyboy, The next stage unfortunately is more stone removal, I would say another 30 bags worth.

After the stones have gone the weedkiller will be put down, and I will wait for the slow death of the lawn and weeds, next I will be taking up the old lawn.

The plan is to then turn over the whole garden to get a rough level, raking, treading, I could do with a bit of rain as it is rather dry out there right now.

After this I will be buying 3/4 ton of topsoil this will be spread over and turned into the existing soil, raked and a bit more treading,

I will then level again and a bit more treading then I  will add some starter lawn feed. I will let this sit for as long as possible, pulling any new weeds ect.

Hoping to sow in mid September.

If I have missed anything or plan to do something I shouldn't then please let me know.

I know this is a bit wrong but my hardscaping will have to wait until next year from a financial point of view.

Ok I am no expert but from what I can see the soil looks pretty good, because of the path of stones the previous owners had down was pretty deep and I want to raise the lawn level with the patio I feel I will need the top soil to bring the level up.

I am open to any advice.

Hmmmm there is some food for thought, I calculated it at 4 bulk bags of topsoil for 1 inch coverage. The garden is 90 square meters,

I will have to give this a little more thought, once I  have killed of the lawn should I cut the lawn up, or can I just turn it into itself, if that makes sense.

buddyboy that would be excellent if you could do the maths, regarding the weedkiller, I got the one you recommended, and I have read to use about 100ml per 5L of water, are you recommending 200ml?

I have also found this turf at £1.92 per Square meter
