What kind of lilac is that if you don't mind my asking. I have a ceanthe-something that I can't spell with light flowers that are dying off now. Yours is a very intense colour!

Erm as far as i remember Californian Lilac if that's any help, we do like intense and contrasting colours in the garden...

Despite the fact that I always disliked tattoos my OH has several really fantastic ones. I too have a tattoo. I got it whilst I was recovering from a very bad bout of depression. It is a huge Phoenix which was appropriate at the time. I am so proud of it still. Fortunately it can't be seen most of the time!

P.S. You are very pretty sweetpea.

Some of us have put photos of us here before, but we are aware that it's a public forum and some like to stay private.

Speaking to the OH she says the Lilac label should be tied to the fence, i'll check tomorrow to see if i can find out what type of Lilac it is, or maybe the good people on here can identify the species...

I can appreciate the quality of artwork in some tattoos, including the examples shown in this topic, but simply can't understand why anybody would deliberately mutilate their body in that way. That's the way I see tattoos anyway.

Each to their own of course but I've seen far too many absolutely awful examples.  One of the worst, or at least most unfortunate, was across the small of a ladies back on holiday.  In Gothic lettering about 4" high was what I assume was supposed be the name of her partner / husband / child "Keith", unfortunately it was spelt "Kieth".  Difficult to correct I imagine.

I put a photo of me and new grandson on Forkers thread 2 weeks ago.

  • I agree, KT, but would readily accept I'm influenced by where I find myself in the age spectrum. David Beckham has had quite influence and it seems to have spiralled since.

Good luck to those who like them and some do look very artistic.

SP93, you're a very beautiful young lady ( from a very gay man's perspective) I have to say I'm the wrong person to ask about tattoos. In my humble opinion  "never do anything to your body, which , you can not EASILY undo". All my love to you and I wish you well. xx
