Garden tattoos? Or generally cool and interesting tattoos?

Lyn your mum sounds fantastic! I have a pretty good pain threshold, but I'd rather get tattooed than be pierced! Getting my nose done was the worst thing I ever did to myself! Hurt more than breaking it!

I like artful tattoos, I can't say I'm a fan of flags, obscure symbols, 'mom', type deals, but I love imaginative, fun pieces, they don't even have to have strong meanings, I find mine make me feel much better about my body. It's not the best looking one around, but now I've got work on my legs I feel confident to wear skirts without tights, and that's huge for me!

I only have two others though, I'm certainly not covered!

apologies for my facre, I have this anchor too, it's very brightly coloured in real life, and probably the one I get most compliments about while at work! They all seem to contain flowers of sorts, even though two I got before I started gardening!

@Fishy, I find it therapeutic too, even when I'm cussing at getting a bramble out, I feel much more content with life once I sit back down and just admire what I've done.

Sweet Pea, you look so young, don't apologise for your face, it's a lovely face with big eyes.

I'm 21 BL, been living independently since I was 18! Sometimes when I look at all the bills at the end of the month I feel much older! And thank you for your kind words imageimage

Thanks, KEF......sadly it seems to have lost its way of late.

*blushing* Thank you David imageThat's not even a photo I like of myself, and only posted it as it's the only photo of my anchor! so I'm terribly flattered. I think sometimes it's nice to put face to name though! And I'm glad I suit my handle KEF, as sweet peas are ever so lovely! Though fallen out of favour with me lately, I happened to split mine as they grew so close together and most have now withered and died! Who knew they were so fragile? Always next year I suppose!

I've shared some photos on David's thread a while ago when I worked with film a lot last year. I've not used the camera much this year, but I might bump it up a little with some recent snaps of flowers I have in my garden, nothing like the usual fancy stuff I take! Maybe I'll start using film again when the weather gets better!

It was my grandma, sweet, over 100 years ago, she was known to have visited Opium dens in London as well.

No wonder I have a bit of rebel in me with this grandma, and the other was a gypsy.

Thinking back to my old boyfriend, it was the Cornish coat of arms, not the flag.

Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.

If I was as pretty as you SweetPea I think I'd have my photo up too. Fortunately I have our little Scampy (God rest his soul) who had much more cuteness than I'll ever get  image
