Lovely pics Peanut, I'd love to go to Cornwall again as there are a couple (well more really) of gardens I'd like to visit and I'd also like to go to Eden again.
I've been to Rydal Mount, Zoomer- a long time ago so can't remember much about it. The daffs were finished when I was there because it was September! I took my girls there a couple of years ago and we walked round Rydal Water but didn't go to the house. Apart from that, not been to the Lake District for a long time - either holidayed up north to go walking, or to Italy, in the recent past. Hope you get the photo thing sorted. I use Chrome and photobucket and it's ideal for me. I don't have to resize photos either but that might be luck!
Lovely pix Peanuts. Especially the bridge. That's the best kind of heron to have!
I live two minutes from a small National Trust garden. Been several times but it was when I lived here before (previous house - not life...) so all the pix are old style 'hard copies'. There's a beautiful bronze statue in the little formal pond , so maybe I'll go one day and get some new pix to put on here
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Visited Picton Gardens and Old Court Nursery in Colwall near Malvern, on Sunday. Winding gravel paths with a suprise at every turn. Beautiful planting. Very pleased that the photos came out so well using the tablet, it can be a bit hit and miss when the sun shines.
I hope someone can tell me what this flower is, a stunning deep blue
Berberis used as low edging and columnar 'trees' at the junction of paths, back drop of acers and hydrangeas, tall asters used as hedging
