....ok, perhaps not. NHS accountant. Sorry! I know most people think I'm just a bean counter, or dreaded NHS management, but somebody has to pay the bills and the doctors and nurses their salaries and wages.
As a mural painter, a lot of my jobs were on building sites (after they had put the roof on) and you could never meet a more lovely, helpful and amusing lot than builders. Though I did work on an American site once and did not understand their humour at all and they didn't understand mine
Started off as a fireman some 25 years ago and came out the service due to part ill health , but nothing serious.
Tried a few things but decided to start doing a horticultural course about 5 years ago. I combined this with doing some landscaping work and gardening
Then got into designing gardens and that basically thats my full time job now.Enjoy it immensely and really wish I had got into it earlier. From design to completion of a garden takes a lot of time and patience with most clients having ideas that compromise the original plan but the balance on the design is always with the client
Was an investor in the future using taxpayers money, reckon I got through £120 million. I was a Civil Servant working on science and technology grant programmes such as nanotechnology. My last post before retiring was about encouraging international cooperation in science and technology with the richer countries of the world.

Quantitative risk consultant. I bet you wish you'd never asked. Would love to work in something to do with plants instead!
