Sold that and have been a school janitor since in my village school love the job just wish i had done gardening years ago now a lot of catching up to do lol.
a) it great to hear of what people do or dream of doing
b) I have lots of job titles:
wife, mum, stepmum, nanny, menu writer, chief cook, baker, kitchen hand, housekeeper, cleaner, finder of lost objects, seamstress, banker, nurse, musical advisor, roadie, security, transportation manager, groupie (son's in a band!), occasional taxi (not so much since son passed his test - usually for hubby!) essay proof reader, counsellor, garden designer, florist, lace-maker, crafter, cat groomer, oh and self-employed beauty therapist!!!!
This threads great ) how lovely to see what we all do is so diverse. I'm an office manager in transport and do a bit of voluntary garden maintenance for some lovely older, less capable ladies.
Used to work in the steel works before Maggie put paid to that in the late eighties, took a job with a distribution/logistics company in 1990, i can mind thinking at the time "it will do for now till i get something else" 24 years later i am still there, done various jobs within that sector, though must admit i have found myself daydreaming of doing something more relaxing lately, kids growing up fast, mortgage paid off, something i can make a couple of bob at to keep me ticking over, something that i will enjoy though, O/L do you know of any openings in the male model game?

Used to be a Chemical Process Operator . Just been made redundant, I'm no
spring chicken , so if I don't find something else soon I may just take my pension.
Money would be tight but I'd be able to do the garden justice at last.

Mike, 45?? Gosh that's young
As much as I'd like to be retired that would be no good, no point being retired with no plant money
Clari, you are obviously much younger than I am then
