Re ds: I already have a climbing rose called Summer Wine and a honeysuckle growing up my old arch, nothing has changed except some judicious pruning image

The messy area at the bottom of picture leads to the another garden room and veg plot that still needs landscaping.

hence why this Dr Ruppel is currently lying across my step. It needs moving to allow room for a pergola some time later this year. image

Great thread, lovely gardens everywhere! Interesting to see the different styles and planting. Here's some more of my back garden patch, it's on different levels so is challenging! Love the fresh colours this time of year brings.

Bamboogie, is that a yellow acer? Amazing colour. Love the way you've trained the clematis in waves along the fence.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Thanks ladies image Lily, there were two pots of 'leeks, one was bought when I visited a friend recently (they are the greener ones near the intruding leaf), and the others were part of one pot that I split up. I hope that they will fill the cup eventually image

OL, go for it image A perfect addition to my table on my patio.
