fairy girl I think it looks really good all black and gives lovely background to your flowers, really lovely

Thank you for your comments, makes it all worth while image All the bricks we used for the edges were found buried in the garden when we moved in! My OH did all the hard work and layed em bless him

Oh Chicky your garden is lovely too and looked back on the other pics and they are fab. Do you do all the gardening yourself? It looks such a big garden but all perfect image

Thank you orchid lady for your Great compliments, tell OH that my OH is driven nuts by how many benches, table and chairs I've got and it's only me and Beau who sit out there image

Star gaze lily it's an old metal bowl/bath thing! Just had to have it! imageYou were lucky to find yours in your sisters garden.  have you planted yours up?

Thank you Verdun image a rethink is needed. The hydrangea, DA rose and wigelia occupy the length of one bed with room, possibly, for one more in the width.

placed plants in pots to see how it would look but can't decide. The rhododendron is to go in the front garden (work in progress)

In spring tulips and wallflowers, lavender and achillea are staple plants, but feel it does need something permenant to give balance through the year.

Morning Beaus Mum, yes I was lucky to find it, although my sister thought I was completely nuts when I wanted it lol. I found it literally at the bottom of the garden half buried behind her shed full of sodden mud image Its made of brass, so great for a couple of my hostas. I've also got trailing loblia and a reddish trailing/spreading plant in it....the name escapes me at the mo. Not got a full pic of it yet but here is the red plant.
