Hello Busy-Lizzy, Stunning Wisteria how I wish I had trained mine below the window. It's above the window and round the corner of the house - a job and a half to prune those whippy bits.
Hi Tray14, I'm envious of your bargain Marguerites, a good find. will you plant them out?
Pouring with rain here so no chance of photographs.
Thanks for this thread, great photos, lovely to see the spring flowers in other gardens.
AAaaaaa........I am SO SO green eyed BL, it is a gift to be a park ranger, and in France too , but on second thought, I love Blighty too much and the challenge of gardening here. Enjoy !
BL, you've given me another idea for wisteria, I have to admit to being a bit scared of it but may try it along the deck fence so it doesnt get too high - will it grow in a tub or is that a silly question?
Mrs G - we grew a wisteria in a pot for about ten years because we were training it into a standard - it did fine, and flowered well. It was liberated into the garden a couple of years ago, but is still kept pruned as a tree shape - covered in flower buds now. Here it is - will post again in a couple of weeks when the flowers come out

And a couple of my beloved Hostas
