I think it will turn out to be a dwarf variety, don't you? Just to make me look silly. Anyway, to put it into context, in this picture of the garden developments it is just behind the pot of F, B and B!!!
We have been moving into the nettles, and widened the pitch, and I am making grass paths. The new beds are only just establishing this year - I am sticking a few annuals in to brighten them up. This bed is only just starting - the other one looks like this...
I stuck the potatoes at the back because I had too much seed, but don't expect much as I forgot to earth them up.
And it is next to the firebreak border between us and the weeds from next door.
Before we did the work it looked like this - which is where I am working next at driving back the nettles!!
And eventually I will be able to rearrange the plants in the raised garden, which is a mess at the moment.
Although it looks okay at a distance - ha-ha!
So lots to keep me busy - which reminds me, best get my glad rags on and cover the cracks in paint ready for my much anticipated trip to Barnsdale - yippee!
My garden border, in the first ones the border is two and a half years old, the trellis bit is last years, there was a mini pine forest all over that bit.
and below is this years. There was a long conifer hedge there, 28 trees at 25 years old.
Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.
My garden is all from seeds, cuttings, root cuttings, I originally bought some bare root perenial from Parkers, and its taken of from there. In the long border there are 12 shrubs that I bought for about 15.00, apart from that, I can honestly say, 'i have grown these plants'. I couldnt afford to buy!.

Victoria Sponge - here as promised (three days late!) is a picture of the love lies bleeding in full flop - no doubt now as to what it is!!
Ooh- super- what a mix of colours it has
I notice you've put it in the ground now - is that for when it suddenly grows to 3m tall or whatever it was...!
Haven't noticed any change to mine.
Cheers for the update
