SGL., picture 5 is Corydalis flexulosa. It likes to grow in shade, there is a beautiful sky blue variety but, unfortunately my is a muddy pink, but it does have beautiful ferny foliage. I started off with a couple of tubers/rhizomes and, they have now spread to form a large colony.
sorry should read flexuosa
How can you lie there and think of England When you don't even know who's in the team
Sorry Puncdoc, but No 5 is Corydalis solida. Flowers and foliage are different with C. flexuosa. I have a large number of C. solida in all sorts of colours, but there a dozens and dozens more I would like to get, but the prices...........sheesh!
Sorry, I cannot find a decent picture of any of my solida to show you.
C. flexuosa is always blue or blue and white, never purple or pink. It is also does not grow from a corm, rather it has scaly roots which is what makes it easy to propagate from division. Also it grows over Winter then dies down in mid-summer and starts again in autumn. C. solida ( and others) grow from corms. They begin in Spring, flower and set seed and have disappeared by early summer. They are a bit like Crocus and Snowdrops in that respect.

lovely pots , fairygirl
Like your white crocus Fairy. White is not used enough in gardens as we all tend to go for the bright colours.
Just wandered around your estate, Berghill, it's beautiful and so big!
How do you keep on top of it all?

Thanks Berghill, I am sure I bought them as flexuosa, but you obviously know your Corydalis. I shall look for some pictures.
