Ginagibbs that poly tunnel looks really good nice lot of seedlings in there, like your rescued trellis near your flowers makes a nice edge for the flowers to be near

GWRS make sure you have water trays under your plants if you are going away,  good going with your harvesting - things taste so much nicer when fresh and grown yourself

Had an email from the council lady that deals with allotments, she is sending a notice to the people with the plot near mine to clear it up or vacate, she has also suggested that they could reduce it so that I can have part of it!! will have to wait and see what happens.image

Garden Girl, have you got yours yet?

That's good news Ginagibbs. It would be great if you got part of it. The holder at the top of my plot got his marching orders last October, he was given a week or two to clear off what he wanted.

Hi Zoomer, it is good news for me, but also a bit sad really, as they are a nice Chinese family and we were all hoping to see some really interesting things being grown. Unfortunately, that just did'nt happenimage

Ginagibbs that sounds good about the messy plot near you it would be nice if you got a bit or all of it, is that a half plot?  pak choi, raddish mooli white

I have not got the plot, I was unsure so they extended the time limit for me to think more about it, I checked if there were any more plots - it has taken a while and there is one coming up end of week so I will be going tomorrow afternoon to look at the plot

Going to a talk at Hillier's and container workshop where I will plant my herb basket

I've worked out how I can show you guy's pics of my old and new plot. Will someone let me e-mail one or two as atttachments then post them on this thread, I don't have any now pics but can take some next time I'm on the plot.

I've just been looking through the pics I have of my old plot, taken from January to about September time last year...can't beleive the change.
