It sounds as though everyone on your allotments are being very busy for autumn. It's already hot here so don't feel like doing much.

EEEk tomatoes had blight so had to rip them out, never mind, had stacks of toms this year and this was the last of them. Dug over the bed ready for onion sets, quite enjoyed digging again!image

Ginagibbs Lots of digging to do on my plot

Went yesterday put more shed pallets on my plot brought some black plastic which is now covering them to keep dry still more in the garden to move

Then went to the industrial units broke up some long pallets took nails out so long pallet planks for my shed, then went and got big cardboard sheets from a different unit and a shelf like pallet frame - most at allotment plot now

also found some bits of vinyl which will be good for the kettle area

Hello all , still on holiday but just having a look at emails in local Pub

lots of work happening , got loads to do when I get back

Davasaat , I would not be with out my burning  dustbin , sometimes I put fire lighters in bottom on newspaper and a way it goes . Your bushes I would just tidy up at moment you can always dig them up next year to get rid or move image

Hoping to get to the plot later today.

I've only been going down to pick fruit and veg. Also planted some garlic, onions and foxglove. I started to relocate the strawberry patch under fruit tree's but we've been having very cold mornings for the past week and I may have missed the window to move them before spring.

I'm going to replace two pear tree's planted last yr, neither have produced any leaves and are looking very dead. I'm also on the look out for two cherry tree's.

The top of the plot is now taking shape. Most is dug over and covered. I've laid two paths across the plot making three long narrow beds to crop rotate on along with smaller beds at the bottom of the plot. The next few weeks should see a shed go up. The base of flag stones still needs laying.

Picked up a pallet yesterday to finish a low terrace, so the top of the plot can be leveled off more.

    Happy growing everyoneimage

Added a new video today of my plot  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E2zIhEfUQjY

Went to the allotment plot today and took some more shed pallets and long pallet planks,  covered over some of the fence pallets with a tarpaulin I brought from B&Q good size and quality for a cheap price

Noticed I have little flowers forming on top of the Jerusalem artichoke, and one of my sunflowers is going like mad on flowering, also I have gained a borage I left the weed as was unsure and got a cool plant

Zoomer exciting a shed going to go up soon, sounds like lots going on... any pictures

Fab video GG, I never got round to doing mine image

Despite being full of cold, I'm going tomorrow to measure up for a bit of a pergola for my grapevine at plot 1 and have a bit of a tidy up. When I was in Greece a few weeks ago I saw lots of things that gave me ideas for both plots, but I need to sit down and think about them properly to figure out how best to do it. They are the most simplistic of things but they work perfectly! Hopefully I can convert some of them into reality over the next few months image

Fruitcake thank you  re the videos if you have taken photos of plots you could make them into a video  - grapevine sounds good

good to have ideas and note them down  - I need to note some ideas down

Managed to get all the pallets for the shed to the allotment plot except the base pallets as need to fill the gaps in,  we also ask and got a 3 metre long pallet from a house near by the allotments - so walked that to the plot was a bit heavy some of the planks have been sawn so not all 3 metre long will be used for something

Also more cardboard collected and a few pallets - could do with some more long pallet planks for the shed

So now the plot has lots of pallet piles that are covered up and cardboard every where

Gg, I've tried before to post pics but failed. I've an android phone now but still working out what it can do. Technology isn't one of my strong points

Started to level the area where the shed is going today. Picked the last of the cougette's.

My onions and garlic have started to grow, the shoots are a couple of inches high.
