Marion your photos are lovely especially the one next to your door, the white wall makes it stand out even more, Marion I too have been snapping photos before the sun goes down
Pick all your tomatoes now. It is a good crop and all will probably ripen for you eventually, frumpy1. Probably not blight but just the cold weather got to them. But just in case do not compost the vines but burn them if you can.
Oh such a cold wet dreich Monday morning. It is on mornings like this I am so glad, glad, glad, to have my conservatory! I will finish my powerpoint presentation for next week and do print-outs for the club ladies so they can have the names of the plants I am showing them. I shall do a hard copy of my Jubilee cake, now all eaten, to hand round too so they can see the details close up and take the rose bower in a box to show them the intricacy of the golden roses on it. Rainy days are sent for me to catch up with the office work as well as to water the garden.
Good evening Marion, and what a cold wet evening it is , sounds like you've had a nice rainy day in, it's good to catch up . I got home from work at six and it had already started to go dark, I'm missing the long summer nights.
so glad your conservatory got finished in time for the wet weather
It rained all day in Bristol and was cold as well. I will tell the gasman to leave the central heating on the clock after he has finished tomorrow. I can switch it off again when the warmer weather comes back on Thursday. I did catch up with a lot of my office work but my hands were really cold doing it. Nothing like gardening for the good of your circulation.!
Oh my goodness it is tipping it down and no letup till lunchtime according to the Bristol forecast. Heating engineer is coming this morning to service my boiler so I cannot put the fire on. Brrrr. It is so dark too. I do hope the promised warm spell at the end of the week materialises. It will be so easy now to get my hundreds of daffs planted.
